1. What we collect
- What you send us: name, email, city or ZIP, the service you need, project details, timeline, and an optional fence estimate.
- Automatically: the page you came from, UTM tags, submission time, and basic technical data (IP address, browser) used by our hosting and form providers for security and spam prevention. We don't use a third-party analytics tool on this site.
- We don't ask for phone numbers, payment details or ID.
2. How we use it
- to try to match your request with a local Pro
- to email you about your request
- to keep a record of requests (our lead log)
- to prevent spam and abuse, and improve the site
3. Who we share it with
- The matched Pro: your request details, including your name, email and location, go to the one Pro we match you with, and only with your consent (the checkbox on the form). That Pro handles your information under its own practices.
- Service providers: form submissions are processed by Formspree (email delivery) and stored with Vercel (hosting and storage). They handle your information only so they can provide those services.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- We share your request only with the one pro we match you with, and we never sell your info.
4. Retention
We keep requests for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep a record of it, or until you ask us to delete them.
5. Your choices
- Opt out: email hello@whitetailfence.com and we'll stop emailing you.
- Delete: email hello@whitetailfence.com to ask us to delete your information. We'll delete it from our records and lead log. Information already shared with a Pro is held by that Pro; we'll pass your deletion request along to them.
- Pros: reply "no thanks" to any outreach email and we won't email you again.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method is 100% secure.
7. Children
The Service is for adults (18+) arranging home projects. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. Questions? Email hello@whitetailfence.com.
